It is time to start reporting on our mission in a public forum. Yes, we've been busy, but communication is important and we hope this blog finds at least some small audience that will appreciate the wonderful experience we are having.
This will follow our adventures in the North Woods of Minnesota in and a town we'd never heard of called Bemidji. There are about 400 lakes within a 25 mile radius of our home here. The "Great Plains" are added because we do a lot of traveling through the Bismarck, North Dakota Mission. Our area is the far Eastern portion of the mission but it extends to Western Montana and takes in all of North Dakota, most of South Dakota, and a generous slice of northern Nebraska.
Just before we entered the MTC we were informed we would be going to Minnesota instead of South Dakota and that Darrell was would serve as second counselor in the mission presidency. We spent our first week here to find an apartment and the next nearly two weeks traveling to zone conferences around the mission. The map below shows out travels during the first 3 weeks of our mission.
We apologize it has taken two months to start. More to come!
